How Sealed Air fared against currency headwinds, weaker sales

Sealed Air Corp. (NYSE: SEE) on Thursday reported net income of $49.6 million, or 25 cents per diluted common share, for the second quarter. That's nearly double the $28.1 million, or 13 cents per share, the company reported in net income for the same period a year earlier.
