How Charlotte's rent growth compares to other N.C. cities (PHOTOS)

A new monthly rent report shows that while prices rose 3.5% across Charlotte in June from a year earlier, rent growth in another North Carolina city continues to dominate. San Francisco-based website Apartment List said that rental prices increased the most in Asheville, where the median rent last month cost $980 for a 1-bedroom apartment and $1,200 for a 2-bedroom unit.
