The first project in Charlotte Douglas International Airport’s current expansion plan is on track to be completed in the summer of 2018, one year ahead of the initial contract date. Destination CLT, a 10-year, $2.5 billion series of upgrades and renovations, is underway with the construction of an elevated roadway and pedestrian tunnels.
