Developer Beacon Partners recently closed on its purchase of the Metrolina Expo Center, a 95-acre fairgrounds site in north Charlotte that will be redeveloped for a distribution park. Under the name BIN-Metrolina LLC, the Charlotte real estate firm purchased 91.4 acres at 7100 Statesville Road for $11 million on June 27, according to Mecklenburg County real estate records.
