Volkswagen could owe N.C. consumers $90M in emissions settlement

North Carolinians who purchased Volkswagen diesel vehicles may be eligible for a payout, as the German auto maker has agreed to pay consumers $10 billion for what’s being called a case of vehicle emissions fraud. The settlement, negotiated by N.C.
