Publix Super Markets Inc.'s growing list of stores will soon include Gastonia. The Lakeland, Fla.-based grocer says it will open its store at the Hoffman Village shopping complex at 7 a.m. on July 6. That store, formerly a Lowes Foods location, will be nearly 52,000 square feet. It is located at 1949 Hoffman Road. This gives Publix 15 stores in the Charlotte metro.
