OrthoCarolina has named Dr. Bruce Cohen as its new chief executive, effective July 1. Cohen has been an orthopedic foot and ankle surgeon since 1997 and a physician with OrthoCarolina since it was founded in 2005. He replaces Dr. Dan Murrey who has led the organization since 2008. Murrey will transition to CEO of Transformant Healthcare Solutions— a spin-off company that provides management services to private physician groups, including OrthoCarolina.
