City Council approved recommendations by a five-member panel to award three incumbents and one newcomer exclusive taxi operating rights at Charlotte Douglas International Airport beginning next month. City Cab, Crown Cab Co. and Yellow Cab of Charlotte have the current contracts at CLT.
