Kings Dominion exec named to lead Carowinds

For the third time in three years, Carowinds has a new general manager. Pat Jones, the GM at Kings Dominion park in Richmond, Va., is the new general manager and vice president at the amusement park that straddles the Carolinas border along Interstate 77. Cedar Fair Entertainment Co. (NYSE:FUN) announced Jones’ appointment this morning. She replaces Brad Marcy, who took over leadership of the park late last year.
