Seven luxury houses have once again made the list of North Carolina's most expensive coastal homes. Overall, 12 of the 23 homes are located in the Wilmington area. The demand for beach homes in Wilmington is increasing, along with home prices. Between May 2015 and 2016, the change in total units of houses sold in Wilmington was 18.82%, or 124 units.
