American, United to join Delta in offering no-frills, stripped-down seats

Atlanta-based Delta Air Lines Inc. (NYSE: DAL) said earlier this year it would begin selling no-frills, stripped-down seats. Now, American Airlines Group Inc. (NASDAQ:AAL) — by far the dominant carrier at Charlotte Douglas International Airport — and United Airlines are following suit, reports Travel & Leisure.
