More expansion in the works at Charlotte airport

On Monday morning, Jack Christine, the chief operating officer at Charlotte Douglas International Airport, stood in an abandoned parking lot, surrounded by seven nondescript, empty buildings. Christine wielded a bullhorn and yelled, “Tear it down, boys!” A pair of excavators — one orange, one yellow — responded by thrashing the former home of Budget Rent a Car.
